Refund policy

Our promise
If your restoration isn't right, email support@restorethisphoto.com within 14 days of purchase — we'll rerun it with you or refund the purchase. An unused restoration is always refundable. You do not need to write a formal claim or prove that an emotional family photograph failed an objective test. Tell us what looks wrong, include the private job or batch link, and say whether you would prefer help with another treatment or a refund.
A rerun can be useful when scratches, fading, blur, tears, or colorization need a different treatment. We will help within the purchase's attempt and retention window and will be honest when the surviving scan does not support a better result. Choosing a supported rerun does not give up your right to ask for the refund during the 14-day period if the restoration still is not right.
How refunds work for multi-photo purchases
For a multi-photo purchase, tell us whether the concern affects one photograph or the value of the purchase as a whole. We may first offer a practical rerun for an individual result. If the service failed, the downloads were unavailable, or the results as a whole were not useful, we can refund the purchase. We will not make you upload additional irreplaceable material merely to qualify. Refunds return to the original payment method; banks and card networks control how many business days it takes for the return to appear.
Please contact us before opening a card dispute when possible. That gives us the fastest chance to restore access, find the correct purchase, or issue the return. It does not limit any rights your card provider or local law gives you. We may ask for the checkout email, purchase date, and private recovery link, but we will never ask you to send a complete card number or security code.
Recognizing the charge
Your card statement shows RESTORETHISPHOTO because RestoreThisPhoto is operated by the EditThisPic team and uses that team's payment account. The name can look unfamiliar even when the purchase was made on restorethisphoto.com. If you do not recognize a charge, email support@restorethisphoto.com with the date and amount so we can investigate promptly. Do not include sensitive card details. We will confirm what we can, protect the related photographs, and make a mistaken or unauthorized charge right.
